Learn Khmer: 12-Week Introductory Course

Presented by the Cambodian Cultural Centre

This 12-week beginner course introduces children to the Khmer language through fun, engaging, and interactive activities. Designed especially for young learners, the course focuses on building basic conversational skills, recognizing the Khmer alphabet, and developing a love for language learning through play.

Each week, children will explore new words and phrases used in everyday life—such as greetings, family, colors, animals, and favorite foods—while practicing simple sentences and polite expressions. Through songs, storytelling, drawing, role-play, and educational games, students will gain confidence in speaking and listening to Khmer in a friendly, supportive environment.

Course Details:

• Duration: 12 weeks

• Time: To be determined - 11am or 1pm

  Please note that workshop times for Language Level 1 and Level 2 may be subject to change depending on attendance. We will notify all participants as soon as possible of any schedule adjustments.
