Learn Khmer: 12-Week Intermediate Course

Presented by the Cambodian Cultural Centre

This 12-week intermediate course is designed for adults who already have a basic understanding of Khmer and are ready to build greater fluency and confidence. This program will help you deepen your communication skills and engage more meaningfully with Khmer language and culture. We strongly recommend that you complete our Level 1 Khmer course first before registering for Level 2.

Throughout the course, you will expand your vocabulary, strengthen sentence structure, and improve your ability to hold longer, more natural conversations. You will practice expressing ideas in different contexts, asking more complex questions, and understanding spoken Khmer at a deeper level. The course will also further develop your reading and writing skills, with increased focus on Khmer script, pronunciation accuracy, and practical, real-life usage.

Course content includes everyday conversations, cultural context, and interactive activities such as role-playing and guided dialogue to help reinforce learning and build confidence in real-world situations.

• Duration: 12 weeks

• Time: To be determined - 11 am or 1 pm

  Please note that workshop times for Language Level 1 and Level 2 may be subject to change depending on attendance. We will notify all participants as soon as possible of any schedule adjustments.
